The emissions are produced upon combustion. The same with LNG. The downstream emissions occur as they are burned in cars etc …

  • @CTHW@mstdn.ca @EllenInEdmonton@yeg.bike @uxMark@cosocial.ca I understood that point, but think it's missing an aspect: when an infrastructure is provieded it will be used in most cases: Provide highways: they will be full Provide pipelines: they will be used It funnels money away from other solutions while needing budget beyond creation for maintenance. Channeling education and knowhow in the wrong direction is another aspect.
