Yes.
My point is in relation to the idea that Canada is increasing emissions with pipelines and it doesn't, directly. The emissions are produced upon combustion. The same with LNG.
The downstream emissions occur as they are burned in cars etc …

@CTHW@mstdn.ca @EllenInEdmonton@yeg.bike @uxMark@cosocial.ca I understood that point, but think it's missing an aspect: when an infrastructure is provieded it will be used in most cases: Provide highways: they will be full Provide pipelines: they will be used It funnels money away from other solutions while needing budget beyond creation for maintenance. Channeling education and knowhow in the wrong direction is another aspect.
