Son of a fuck..... I've got a tree of heaven growing in the drainage ditch at the very edge of my property.
Time to whip out the chainsaw! I'll not be responsible for more spotted lanturn flies in this area.

If you simply cut down a Paulownia, it will resprout from all of its root suckers, and they can extend up to 50ft away. ☹️ You need to kill the whole tree, including the root system, by making slashes in the bark and treating it with herbicide.
