Nope! Xcode 26 won't run on macOS 27 beta. So I open a ticket, saying, "Hey, in the past, during the beta cycle, the old version of Xcode ran on the new OS, so I could continue to submit builds for review. That's not working this time around. Is there an easy workaround other than buying a second laptop?"
The response was an incomplete recap of my request, links to the developer forum, release notes, and this link:

...which confirms that old Xcodes did indeed...

...old Xcodes did indeed bridge major OS releases, as I described, and that Xcode 26 breaks that pattern. So great, I appreciate that my position and the need for the question has been confirmed, but there was literally nothing helpful in that response. "Here's a document." is mealy-mouthed and unhelpful. I would have accepted: You're right, and the only way to resolve this is if you have access to another computer. Or: A fix is coming next week. Or: I'll see what I can do. Or even: 4/?
