The reason I'm writing about this is that I'm really disappointed in Apple's Developer Support team. I've been building apps for over a decade, and I could count the number of support tickets I've opened on one hand. I'm not overly demanding.
But here we are in the beta cycle, and my laptop is on the beta and I'm loving the new Xcode beta, but of course, I can't actually submit a new build for review if it was built on the Xcode beta.
So I try to run the production version of Xcode...

Nope! Xcode 26 won't run on macOS 27 beta. So I open a ticket, saying, "Hey, in the past, during the beta cycle, the old version of Xcode ran on the new OS, so I could continue to submit builds for review. That's not working this time around. Is there an easy workaround other than buying a second laptop?" The response was an incomplete recap of my request, links to the developer forum, release notes, and this link: https://developer.apple.com/support/xcode/ ...which confirms that old Xcodes did indeed... 3/?
