@miguelpergamon@kolektiva.social The thing is that "AI" is not culture, as it does not have intention. At best "AI" can only be the macnuggets of culture, blenderizing everything, adding some coloring and presenting it as something edible but unheallthy.

@afreytes@mastodon.gamedev.place The "intention" of Hollywood is to make money and hold extravagant awards ceremonies congratulating each other. Most of the classic English/British children's stories are products of the intelligence community ("Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" by Iam Fleming, for example). There are proponents of the idea that only the culture created by the proletariat is real culture and everything produced by the mainstream is propaganda and/or exploitation. John Berger and (personal favourite) Jonathan Meades go into the nature of Art and Media.
