I'm not even sure that I want to use Anubis to solve this problem.
Proof of work is not really my favourite computational solution for... any problem, honestly. I get the logic of it, I get why it punishes clients in a scalar way, but still.
I also had some pride in the idea that my most important sites were effectively JS-free and now I'm talking about making a change that would make JS mandatory to access anything in my hive.
But I can't keep getting hit by these guys

@patcharcana@furry.engineer Perhaps you could try some non-js challenge, like setting a cookie and serving a From my tests, most of these bots are really dumb and it's possible to tell them apart without having to make legit users grind hashes.
