@mho@social.heise.de Interesting. I've never searched for it. I don't fully understand how the instance affects visibility, but I know it does. But during a match, WorldCup even manages to overpower politics for me over here.

So a small instance will never see nearly as much content as one of the larger ones. It's not linear; I expect that due to network effects even a moderate size instance such as ours will in practice see most posts in the network. But not even the largest instance sees all posts.
