@FranceskaMann@freeradical.zone I think this isn't too far off. I think the leaders of the party at the national level are doing what a lot of people do in their situation: holding onto their personal wealth and positions even though that entails moral compromises. I'm sure most of them tell themselves it's for the best or something.
Other Democrats with positions in the party are pushing for change, and getting strong resistance from the first group. I am hoping either the Young Turks take over or they split and pull the progressives with them. The second is scary because national vote margins are very thin, but the DNC seems content to lose elections anyway.

@guyjantic@infosec.exchange IDGAF what "everyone else is doing", nor do I care how morally conflicted these war mongering profiteering democrats are. I want representatives who represent people, not corporations. It's not a big ask. It's not too much to expect. Democrats **** the bed. Finally, 100 of them are standing up to Israel. Good luck to them. And I don't see the Young Turks as progressive. They are not going to split the party. Gross. Young Turks? Seriously? You deserve better.
