I'm getting married next week and I wanted French translations of the various wedding speeches for the members of my family less comfortable with spoken English. I could have done it, but then I would have spoiled the speeches for myself. So I hired a translation service to do it. So far, I'm not impressed, they translated the notes I left them as is, disregarding the actual content of those notes. Maybe I wasn't clear enough, is there a standard way of giving notes to translators?
