I'm having a strong Knuth moment, in which I want to get shit done, but before I can get shit done, I first have to make the tools to get shit done.
Why Knuth? Because it's about documentation. It always is about documentation.
I don't know why all the documentation related tooling we have is kind of shitty. I suspect it is because too many developers treat knowledge transfer as a *secondary* objective.

This isn't to say that *all* such tools are *completely* rubbish, far from it! They mostly appear to be bad at making the task of maintaining reasonably large bodies of documentation painless for small amounts of maintainer hours. Which predominantly means having multiple disparate sources of documentation, pulling them together, and building/updating multiple different artifacts out of them.
