One thing that struck me about Prague (apart from the architectural beauty and huge crowds) was that every bag I saw from a shop was paper.
We did a small bit of shopping, and both shops we bought from had paper bags - then I noticed after that that every person carrying a shopping bag, the bag was paper.
How come the UK can’t (or won’t) implement this?

@saxifraga@lgbtqia.space The only bags available in Germany are either bag for life type, or paper! We do not even think about it, or even the price of purchasing a paper bag, as we often use them for composting kitchen waste.
