There is a vigil THIS EVENING (16 July) in memory of Louisa Gag, who was killed by a driver last week. Gather at Boston City Hall at 5:30 PM, remarks at 6 PM.
There are convoys riding from multiple neighborhoods, most departing 5 PMish

Emotional evening at the vigil. I'm glad the Mayor decided to show up in front of a crowd full of people who are NOT happy with her, but I was not impressed by her failure to own her responsibility in delaying life-saving work at the site where Louisa was killed. Saying that the City is going to make a study of how to make the area more safe feels a bit insulting without acknowledging that this was already done. The time for study has come and passed, the time for action is now.
