@RickiTarr@beige.party From the combined experience of the women in my friend groups, it can be nothing, or it can be a nightmare, or anything in between. One had surgery to remove uterine fibromas and saw an improvement in painful periods and went into full menopause shortly after. Three are on HRT and report much improved energy and less brain fog and fewer hot flashes. Another just reported that her periods just stopped, with no side-effects…. Lucky gal. The best advice I can provide as a sympathetic guy is change doctors if you’re not getting taken seriously, and keep asking “What’s next?” if you aren’t getting relief from the current treatment. Fibroma gal had to get a half dozen tests before the source of her period pain was definitively determined.
