According to an intern at the WaPoop, "Hany Farid, a digital forensics professor at the University of California at Berkeley, confirmed there is no evidence the image [of Mitch McConnell and his wife] was AI-generated." That the picture is genuine is not as important as what it doesn't say. McConnell isn't moving or walking. He isn't speaking. He apparently can't sit up in bed on his own.
