If it helps, whatever you were like, remember that they went through teenage hell to survive, and hadn't yet learnt, processed, and internalised all the stuff you had.
Maybe imagine you were able to talk with them right now. What would you say to them, and they to you? What would you talk about?
Our brains and minds are plastic. It might take time, but if you can get the right support, method, and meds, you might be able to see them differently, and let go of the hate.
Our younger self was SO cringe in so many ways, but they had to crawl and stumble so we could walk, job, then walk and stumble again¹ 🩷
¹ Not their fault there. They couldn't have stopped a progressive connective tissue disorder slowly developing.

@SleepyCatten@cultofshiv.wtf at some level, I wonder how people who knew me back then could stand me at all, but then again they were also cringe so it's like we grew together. I'd probably tell young me to quit being a giant brat. I can't do anything about teenage me having cringe speech patterns (like all the phonetic spelling of words).
