@SleepyCatten@cultofshiv.wtf at some level, I wonder how people who knew me back then could stand me at all, but then again they were also cringe so it's like we grew together. I'd probably tell young me to quit being a giant brat. I can't do anything about teenage me having cringe speech patterns (like all the phonetic spelling of words).

@thomasjwebb@mastodon.social nods empathetically If we wrote about all the genuinely-painful-to-describe things we did, even from secondary school onwards, we'd have both a book and even more mental health problems 😅 Also, we'd be worried that somebody would recognise us if we told the actual truth 😅
