I couldn't find this story by searching "boy" or "kid" and maybe that's because the media likes to adultify black minor victims of police brutality. There was one article that echoed speculation on the part of law enforcement that this was suicide-by-cop in the headline. Netto-uyo (Japanese equivalent of alt-right) spread rumors that the man who probably murdered his 11 year old stepson in Kyoto prefecture was Chinese. It wouldn&#39;t mean anything about Chinese immigrants even if that were true because he&#39;s an individual human but it was bullshit anyway - he&#39;s Japanese. This shit is happening everywhere. Confirmation bias and just making shit up to justify hate.

lgbt domains are expensive. So I&#39;m going to get rid of these: genderqueer.lgbt genderfluid.lgbt If anyone on the fediverse who seems reputable to me, I&#39;ll sell it at huge discount or even free, depending on what you will doing with it. The only catch is your registrar will probably charge you a lot to renew it. I&#39;m trying to save up money for laser hair removal and part of that is cutting needless expenses like this.

That’s terrible that ICE is at some US airports. I’m hoping we don’t encounter any. But it was already terrible that the TSA is in all the airports. Both of these are products of the post-9/11 authoritarian creep. We could live without them as we once did.

I went to NAMM and the subsequent Friends of Buchla event last week/weekend and one thing that I think does deserve more representation there is open source tools. It would be nice if there was one booth, even a small one, that just represented the whole ecosystem. Music students and educators attend at a great discount or paid for by an institution. They&#39;re not programmers who necessarily know what&#39;s out there.
