Watching the latest video from Slow Commute Club, it dawned on me that the reason I am so indifferent to #bicycle or multiuse paths is because I've mostly lived my life in places where they don't exist, or in places where the traffic on them was so dense with pedestrians that riding bicycles on them is impractical/intrusive.
For the past 12 yrs, I've lived in #Vermont, where there are no multiuse paths or #cycling #infrastructure, at all. I am forced to ride the streets. #BikeTooter #FediBike

Here in #VT, #VehicularCycling isn't just a suggestion or a good idea, it's literally the only way to get around on a #bicycle. And yes, sharing the roads with motor vehicles is terrifying and dangerous. #Vermonters don't care about fixing that. Nevertheless, she persists. I don't have an action cam, but I wish I did, just so I could show people the insanity of our roads in #Vermont, what our state demands we accept, all to mollify the puerile, whinging demands of car drivers and landowners.
