@alice@lgbtqia.space sorry to tag you but is this newsmast thing like that other tag thing that happened recently? This post got instantly boosted by them and after what happened I'm a bit concerned. Sorry it's late hope you know what I'm referring to 😂

@JaxVent@lgbtqia.space yes, newsmast is a similar "service", along with tagpush and a bunch of others. IFAIK newsmast isn't auto-creating bots with hashtag names, but the core "service" is in "boosting reach", which I personally dislike.
