The smallest music production setup I have is the AKAI Force with a pair of Genelec 8020.
Genelec 8020 was my first pair of studio monitors (after having used a pair of Jamo HiFi speakers the first couple of years), and they still do a decent job of small tasks or for reference. They are a little heavy in the lower midrange, but otherwise good for the size.
I have several pairs as I have used them for site specific sound design in the theatre, for which they are perfect (and discrete looking).

@mosgaard@uddannelse.social Cool. I have been using the same Event small studio monitors for 28 years. They lack lower end, but always felt very clear to me. If I want big bass I put my headphones on, but I really prefer working without headphones on.
