Glad for my noisy little portable AC today, though it's struggling a bit now (green line, still rising).
I think I need to try hacking on a second hose for the air intake to stop it drawing in air from the rest of the house.

Dual hose hack complete! ish. I spent a good while getting the box the perfect shape to fit snugly over the air intake - not realising the outlet adapter gets in the way. D'oh!

@fsphil@mastodon.social Mine's in need of the same mod. 15,000 BTU and still only knocks a few degrees off the room temperature.
