@streetmeme@cycle.town Oh Hell No. Car horns are loud, they have to be to penetrate the sealed box and the distracted attention of the moronist being honked at. This is how you get me to buy a truck or train horn and ride round with ear defenders on. You want honking? I'm honking. #BikeTooter

I passed all cars on today's bike ride. Despite low traffic volume, cars continue to demonstrate geometric inferiority.Zero honks were collected. A similar feat on Lake Street would have earned at least five honks!Primary difference appears to be the presence of a painted bike lane. Conclusion: Bike lanes exist to coddle the egos of drivers. Bike lanes are car infrastructure. #BikeTooter
