...if you're migrating your photos from Apple iCloud to #Immich (or #Pixelunion) be aware that Immich will delete meta-data - and will **not** notify you of this.
I can understand if they can't migrate all metadata (yet?), but not notifying users of this is just bad design / plain wrong of course 👎🏼

@Kdude@mastodon.social Holy shit, thanks for this. I was considering migrating my photos off of Nextcloud and Apple Photos to Immich in the next week or so. I’ll just hold off.
