...if you're migrating your photos from Apple iCloud to #Immich (or #Pixelunion) be aware that Immich will delete meta-data - and will **not** notify you of this. I can understand if they can't migrate all metadata (yet?), but not notifying users of this is just bad design / plain wrong of course 👎🏼 https://redlib.privacyredirect.com/r/immich/comments/1umckku/immich_ios_users_read_this_before_deleting_your/ #SelfHosted #SelfHosting #Privacy #Homelab

@ente It would be wise, to mention on your website [1] that even when enabling iCloud "Advanced Data Protection" , some Photo **metadata** is still NOT encrypted. Like: file name, file type, view counts, favorite/pinned status, timestamps, usage data, etc. [1] https://ente.com/compare/ente-vs-apple-photos/

@Mastodon Hmmz it seems that @quad9dns is blocking `mastodon.social`. It's on a "Domain Intelligence - Threat Domains" blacklist apparently... https://quad9.net/result/?url=mastodon.social#domain-tester

@protonprivacy the problem with Protons services, is that every App they create works great: for 95%. 5% are "annoying bugs", that never get solved. Contacting support is useless. Obviously support employers cannot solve bugs. The thing is, driving a car where 5% does not work - like without properly functioning tires or whatever - becomes problematic quite quickly. #protonpass #protonmail #protonvpn #protondrive

@zenbrowser so was checking out Zen Browser (1.19.10b, 2026-04-27) - but apparently it doesn't have the security fixes from Firefox 150.0.1 from April 28 yet? 🤔 https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/security/advisories/mfsa2026-35/
