@enobacon@urbanists.social @lkanies@hachyderm.io you definitely can get good results from guiding, planning, understanding and not much reviewing. Even on quite large projects.
But it’s a hard skill to learn. It’s paradoxical but it’s not tools juniors can be successful with and success requires a lot of experience
I have success with large mostly generated projects that once I take the time to study it and understand it I am happy with the result.
Language choice matters a lot though. Go is incredibly well suited

@ripienaar@devco.social @lkanies@hachyderm.io maybe it's a matter of using programming languages that are designed for humans to read and write vs something optimized for the computer. Golang seems to be further to the machine end of that spectrum.
