@ripienaar@devco.social @lkanies@hachyderm.io maybe it's a matter of using programming languages that are designed for humans to read and write vs something optimized for the computer. Golang seems to be further to the machine end of that spectrum.

@enobacon@urbanists.social @ripienaar@devco.social I’ve been using swift, which is pretty comfortable to write. Surprisingly close to ruby, which I adore (as a language)
