Is Canada really on the path to "energy sovereignty"?
Assistant prof, poli sci department and Bieler School of Environment, McGill University:
"Energy sovereignty typically, [is] about control over your sources of energy... in theory to provide some kind of guarantee for affordable energy or sustainable energy"
"The Carney government's interpretation of energy sovereignty seems out of step with other countries."
