Maybe I've been watching too much world-cup soccer... Or played too much as a kid. But tonight, when I got beat in my beer-league ice-hockey game, I decided to go with the soccer rules: you can take out the player on a slide tackle so long as you contact the puck first, right? My goalie seemed to agree I did the right thing. Fist bumps on the way to the penalty box.
