@isaacfreeman@cloudisland.nz Within an organization, I can understand. Where it’s weird is outside of that organization, because how that title or position is defined outside of that organization is undoubtedly going to be different. And it is therefore unhelpful in most cases to use such titles in public spaces to define who you are. It seems better, almost always, to describe what you do.

@louie@pdx.social Good point. Yeah, there's very little useful comparison between job titles in different organisations.
