Signed - justice for those of us who grew up LGBTQ* under Section 28,
I didn't realise til reading The Log Books how damaged my early years were by it. I always assumed John had it harder with pitched battles and GLF, but it was a different type of battle.

I was surrounded by the narrative that lesbians were a threat to little girls. That our female PE teachers were a threat to us in the changing rooms for being muscular with short hair. That if I liked girls I was perverted and evil. I hid in the closest until I was 42. So much internal homophobia to deal with and so much wasted time trying to make it work with men 😬
