To me, destashing is “let me recoup some of my sunk cost to free up space”
If I’m having to dispose of someone else’s stash, that’s closer to “estate sale”, where I expect a bit more “pay what the market can bear”
If I am a person running a business/dealer, then I shouldn’t be using the term destash, but marking up things vintage or out of print makes more sense.
But that’s just me.

@TindrasGrove@infosec.exchange I do think the original seller who inspired this was using a destash site inappropriately to get in front of buyers. $45USD/yd is too high regardless, but it wouldn’t have caught my ire as much on a vintage site @LPerry2@mastodon.social
