Rather uneventful rest of the day. The heat seemed to slow everything down. 😴 Quiet AGC ride to Tours, a 3 hrs break in a nearby park as I fell into the midday gap again, then onwards to Le Mans and finally to Chartres with a really slow but nearly empty all stations service.

Arrival in Chartres. 36° at 18 o'clock. The heat hit me like a hammer when I left the train. 🥵 But what a difference this was to Vierzon! A really lovely, lively town with a beautiful cathedral and many locals sitting in restaurants. 😊 #LaFranceTractée
