Arrival in Chartres. 36° at 18 o'clock. The heat hit me like a hammer when I left the train. 🥵 But what a difference this was to Vierzon! A really lovely, lively town with a beautiful cathedral and many locals sitting in restaurants. 😊 #LaFranceTractée

Less lovely: The rail situation. Usually, there are three Corail trains Mon-Fri. Le Mans -> Paris in the morning, back in the evening. But: A thunderstorm damaged an interlocking on the line. After 1.5 weeks, they still hadn't fixed it and had to run on sight. Which resulted in 1 Corail being cancelled and 1 cut short to Le Mans - Chartres. #LaFranceTractée
