I wonder if those thoughts can be part of the bridge to bring people back across that fissure.
And meanwhile, I am reminded of the importance of continuing to hold the ground on this side, lest it slip into the abyss. Essays like Lily Hu's are so important, reflecting on what it is to do our scholarship, and why it can't be automated.
