When I had a stamp designed to "sign" books with (my handwriting is basically non-existent due to focal dystonia), the artist I was working with asked me for catch phrases to include in the design. There are two: 1. Have pride in your own expertise 2. Resist the urge to be impressed >>

I wonder if those thoughts can be part of the bridge to bring people back across that fissure. And meanwhile, I am reminded of the importance of continuing to hold the ground on this side, lest it slip into the abyss.
