There is one particular moment in my life that convinced me beyond any doubt that B2B is an absolute trashfire that has nothing to do with any rational evaluation of business or market needs.
I deeply cannot share that moment, but I mention it by way of... wow, yeah, I can never read business news with a straight face again. This remains the case when reading news about OpenAI.

@xgranade@wandering.shop I worked 3 months doing admin for a B2B waste management company. The shit you'd hear from clients was incomprehensible. The dumbest one was a client complaining needing to pay for 2 skips when they only used one, when what they were paying was weight of waste. Wanted a refund for the unused skip and paid the overweight charge. An extra grand was earned that day. Maybe it was to prove a point, but they asked the same thing again the week after. Business is just people.
