@rasterweb@mastodon.social My incredibly unpopular opinion:
While I think there should be more regulation around those e-motorcycles, I'm not overly worried about kids on these things. I'd rather have kids tearing around on these things than driving their parents' massive SUVs or one of those ridiculous, loud street racers.

@Karstan@pdx.social Oh yeah, but all these reports I read are that teens (who do not have a drivers license or even much experience cycling) just do not know the rules of the road or trail etiquette which can be a major safety hazard for themselves and others. I'm all for micromobility but also like safe and responsible behavior. 😁
