@whack@hachyderm.io Sounds like the all left early after pushing the latest system changes to production. Sadly they didn't bother to test them first 😟🤦♂️

@whack@hachyderm.io "Dead company theory." Very good. In my life, I have *once* actually been called back by a company that claimed it would call me back. It's a tactic. They don't want to solve our problems. They want us to GO AWAY.

@whack@hachyderm.io My cousin had this with Booking.com to check in the tickets 2 days before the flight. Found out that most likely the #KLM flight had been cancelled, but Booking hadn't notified. So urgent action required. As it happens Booking.com does everything, EVERYTHING, to keep you away from speaking a real human for support. Going from online #AI chat to a #LLM on the phone. "Do you want to speak to support? Please press 2" --> reconnects to another AI. This took hours and hours. In the end my cousin got KLM directly on the line and they re-booked the flight with "Yeah, that's #Booking for ya, they are shite". For any company out there: Giving *real* human support is an absolute unique selling point worth some extra money by the consumer. My cousin swore never to use Booking ever again. I came to that conclusion the previous year on similar shebang.

@whack@hachyderm.io isn’t it obvious? Class war has taken every reason to care about our jobs from us. Disempowering labor fucks over the company, workers, customers etc… Because the most important part of an organization are the people within it.
