@stephaniewalter@front-end.social Very glad to see this. ColorAdd (as used e.g. in _Sea Salt & Paper)_ is fine as far as it goes, but very basic, and has secret licencing terms. But alas they've used Claude Code, and Cursor too, so I can't touch it.

Yeah, you csre if you use the Great Hallucination Machine, right? Also their toggle only has ‘colourblind’ as an option when theres at least three main types. Double coding with shapes is better and should be deafult in most board games (it isn’t, sadly) Plus there’s reports they’ve plagiarised from other projects?

  • @RogerBW@discordian.social @alicemcalicepants@ohai.social @stephaniewalter@front-end.social Nothing beats actual colourblind testing (folks can get me onboard as a consultant as I’ve assisted other designers) On the subject of Sea Salt and Paper. Those little symbols are too small and add quite the layer of cognitive load for me to process so honestly the mermaid scoring at the end tends to be just luck.
