  What do y’all do with board games you can’t seem to sell? I’ve got a handful I want to shift but they’re not popular or desirable (probably weren’t when ‘new’) I could shift them at an absolute bargain basement price. Wee fella got so close to winning (four out of the five achievements, and me and nana had 0/1) only to find that Innovation is a mean and unforgiving game. I won on an Era 11 card because I nuked the era 5,6, & 7 achievements 😅. I also stole my wife’s score cards and a lot of his… he enjoyed it though.   I love Innovation. It’s totally not a game for folks who don’t like being really mean*, or who like to plan more than one card draw ahead. But it’s delicious and turns on a dime. I was one round away from winning via achievements and she slaps this bad boy. Of course I draw and reveal a red card. The rest is history and a loss for me… #BoardGames #BrettSpiele #j2s * Especially two player. It can be brutally punishing.

  Here’s my current Top Ten board games. 1. Fields of Arle (#IfYouAintFarmingYouAintGaming) 2. A Feast for Odin 3. Concordia* 4. Innovation 5. Lords of Waterdeep 6. Anno 1800 7. Memoir ‘44 8. Furnace 9. Arkwright* 10. Lost Ruins of Arnak Anything above 5th is fluid (* Arkwright was number two but dropped because it no longer gets played) and amusingly aside from FoA, Concordia and AFFO my top played games is very different. #BoardGames #BrettSpiele #j2s /cc @jefklak@dosgame.club
