there is a long east-west line roughly along 49N, dividing moderate dewpoints of 15C from steamy 24C. West of Wisconsin, it dips south. But its been sitting there for at least a week. Very little activity on it. By tomorrow night, its supposed to be at Ottawa, but I don't really see how. The western edge is very far. Perhaps the whole thing will drift south very slowly?

    a vague line of light shower across central Ontario...a small area of tstorms north of Lake Huron...a substantial area of tstorms moving into Chigaco... are these "cold fronts"? Most of the year, the cold fronts are easy to spot, dragging a nice sharp squall line along...
