@caseyliss@mastodon.social and just like that, you've admitted that °F only works for places like the US and simply doesn't make sense for most humans in the world who live in wildly different climates :D
(side note: calling places where actual humans live (and have lived for millennia) “uninhabitable” feels like a caricature of what an American white man would say regarding most things.)

@nileane@nileane.fr With respect, perhaps you didn’t have the full context. It was tongue in cheek, and _mostly_ me needling Guy, whom I’ve known for years, and am fully aware has lived in Canada on and off for a very, very long time. I also think it’s a little rich accusing me — an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, and constant critic of American government (and America in general!) — as being a typical American white guy. But, in the end, glad I could serve an alleyoop for you to dunk on me.
