You’re a middle aged straight white American male out in public proudly declaring that what you know and grew up with is superior. Somehow you actually believe that your narrow and small life experience grants you some vast perspective on what being human means and the numbers you happen to have grown up with and like are, guess what, superior.
Ask yourself why you are so certain of this. I don’t think you’ll like the answer.

Further, I’ll repeat the other thing I’ve consistently said: every other measure we choose is dumb, wrong, and backwards. I’m not trying to play the ray rah ‘murica card. I’ll also repeat I’m at least conversational in Celsius. I have been presented with every contrary opinion about this over the years and none have landed. In the same way mine don’t with you.
