I love (well, loved?) music, love going to the concert but at no point in past decade I felt the need to interact with the artist...

I don't expect to hang out with the guys from Metallica And if we're being thorough, a lot of musicians have said Iovine is a horrible person, so there's that But there's a nugget of truth here. When I went to Tower Records and bought a CD, I felt a connection with that specific band. I looked for them; chose them On a stream, the music comes and goes. There's no attachment ~ except perhaps to Spotify itself. And platforms shouldn't get between artists and their communities
