@caseyliss@mastodon.social @BenRiceM@mastodon.social Can you put up some supporting evidence that your preferred temperature measurement is better than the one the rest of humanity has settled upon? Not magic numbers. Something solid that points to better outcomes.

    @Gte@mastodon.social @BenRiceM@mastodon.social this Celsius propaganda infuriates me because you haven’t given me any particularly good reason why c is better “BUT ITS BASED ON WATER” I don’t care how water feels outside “BUT ITS SCIENCEY” I don’t advocate using F for anything sciencey. I would use C or K for that. “BUT EVERYONE USES IT” that doesn’t make it superior; just better understood I know you’re allergic to anything American — for good measure! (Ba dum tss) — but that doesn’t make me wrong.
