The whole data centers in space is about avoiding some jurisdiction rules, right? It's not about anything other than being free to break the laws because the device breaking it is in space.

@zygoon@fosstodon.org The device may be in space, but the company and its owner still have legal jurisdiction and responsibility. Or at least they should.

@zygoon@fosstodon.org I think it is meant to make the company look forward looking and worth investing in, rather than something that will actually happen. Or possibly trick competitors into thinking this is a good idea: could be useful for a company selling space launch services.
