@samkeeper@slime.global well I mean he did rewrite the Asuka being eaten by monsters scene but with giant flying babies and the Asuka of the scene was a baby eating serial killer with a ruined womb so I guess it makes sense since he's an obvious fan. That and the director being the Gundam QuEX show being involved and Anno being a fan himself of reimaginings really brings the picture together
