@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange i'm only familiar with the 5g bit and still wondering why a separate radio net also shared those timing nodes or relied on something that relied on those nodes. its not exactly NTP, but near enough for our purposes. but what happened to those nodes? they lose access to sat signal? they get an update that broke them?

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange I think it was Howard's privatisation of a national telecommunications monopoly with no meaningful competition. NTP failure causing nationwide outages is one symptom
