BRAGGING: I can't figure out why so many people need Obsidian.
Seems like I get to skip the entire productivity software industry just by descriptively naming my files.
Takes 10 seconds. Saves hours of cleanup and confusion years down the road.
I guess Obsidian exists for the people who don't do that?
Example: Projectname-Homepage-HeroSection-July-4-2026-v3.0
Or is it the other features you love?

@perlman@indieweb.social before I answer, what is your purpose in asking? Do you wish to know how you might use it so it would be useful to you, or to know how other people find it useful, or is it a rhetorical question? I will say that your assumption is incorrect, at least in my experience.
