My greatest challenge as a parent is discouraging my in-laws from buying too many knock-off "LEGO" sets from Amazon, which are generally nearly impossible to assemble and result in a very tearful evening with the five year old.
(yes, zeroth world problems)

@steve@discuss.systems it would be nice if someone could actually make some high quality Lego-compatible pieces. Doesn’t even have to be a set, just bricks and figures.
